I built a thing. And I'm a bit nervous posting this.

Honestly? It started as me playing with AI on a weekend. No grand plan. I was experimenting with Openclaw, and at some point I thought — Switzerland has four official languages, contracts are full of legal jargon, lawyers are expensive, and most people just sign and hope for the best. Including me.
So I built swisscontract.ai — upload any Swiss contract (employment, tenancy, NDA, insurance), get a plain-English summary with red flags highlighted and Swiss law context. In seconds.
I posted it quietly on Reddit to see if others had the same problem. The feedback was blunt — people were like:
who the **** will upload confidential data to a *** site
isn’t is same as asking chatgpt?
Fair questions.
So I made it open source. The entire codebase is public. You can read exactly how the document is processed — nothing stored, nothing logged. Swiss-style transparency felt right for a Swiss legal app.
On the “why free” question — honest answer: I don’t know yet if this is useful enough to sustain. If it is, I’ll look at affiliate partnerships with Swiss legal or insurance services, or a light paid tier for heavy users. If it isn’t, I’ll shut it down cleanly. No pretence.
It’s just me and my wife Roopa building this on weekends.
If you’ve ever signed a Swiss contract and hoped for the best — give it a try. And if you spot something wrong, the code is right there.
Prompt and some additional details in the article my agent published on dev.to.
